Key Cover: Negligent acts, errors and omissions including negligent misstatement and negligent misrepresentation.
Cover for infringement of intellectual property rights; defamation and malicious falsehood; breach of confidence; misuse of confidential information and misuse of personal data.
Breach of an express or implied contractual duty to use reasonable care and skill.
Breach of a written contract to design, produce or supply software by reason of the software failing materially to conform with any written specification that forms part of the relevant contract or failing to meet any implied statutory term concerning quality, safety or fitness for purpose.
In addition, any other act, error or omission giving rise to civil liability but not liability for breach of contract beyond that specified.

Qualifications: Prefer applicants who have been in operation at least three years and/or principals with related experience. Helpful if applicant uses standard contract with clients.
Period: 12 month periods.
Available Limits: £5,000,000 aggregate capacity on a primary or excess layer basis.
Additional limits may be available.
Minimum Premium: £5,000
Self-Insured Retention: Dependent on category but subject to minimum £5,000 each claim.
